Swansea's Big Screen Swansea’s Big Screen is located in Castle Square, in the heart of the city centre. The big screen shows coverage of a variety of sporting events as well as cultural activities and films.

	The Royal Ballet in MacMillan’s Mayerling Thursday 13 June, 7.00pm A dark tale of political intrigue and morbid obsession, set to Liszt’s music, created for The Royal Ballet and now a signature work for the Company with pre show entertainment

	Wimbledon Finals Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July, 11.00am – 2.00pm Watch the Wimbledon finals live on Swansea’s big screen, come and try sessions, Big Screen interactive Activities, Ali’s Cardio Tennis and much more on this tennis themed day.

	The Royal Opera in Puccini’s La Rondine Thursday 11 July, 7.00pm Glamorous 1920s Paris provides the backdrop for exquisite melodies in this production of Puccini’s tender opera, starring Angela Gheorgiu as the elegant Magda and Charles Castronovo as the young, naïve Ruggero. Charles with pre show entertainment.

	The Royal Opera in Puccini’s Tosca Thursday 18 July, 7.00pm Drama, passion and fabulous music – Tosca is one of the great opera experiences, telling the story of the pair of idealistic but ill-fated lovers Tosca and Cavaradossi. Pre show entertainment

	FILM: Kung Fu Panda Thursday 1 August, 1.00pm and 3.30pm Po the panda trains to become ‘The Chosen One’ Enjoy children’s entertainers and a martial arts demo before film.

	FILM: Madagascar 3 Thursday 15 August, 1.00pm and 3.30pm Fighting to get home to their native New York Marty, Melman and Gloria take a journey through Europe as part of a travelling circus. Enjoy pre film children’s entertainers with circus skills.

	FILM: The Goonies Thursday 29 August, 1.00pm and 3.30pm The Goonies fight to save their community by taking on an epic journey through secret caves and treacherous traps to find hidden treasure hidden by One Eyed Willie.
