Locws International - Art Across the City

Art Across The City is an exhibition of contemporary public art located across Swansea, with artwork on show by a diverse selection of international and UK-based artists. This years event includes five new commissions by LOCWS International for 2012.

An information Hub will be sited on Oxford Street with details of Free Guided Tours, Workshops, Seminars and our Education Programmnformation Hub on Oxford Street, Swansea

Tatham & O’Sullivan creates three ‘human scale’ bird boxes

David Blandy designs a videogame called The Devil meets Dylan Thomas

Fiona Curran uses two trees in St Mary’s Church for the foundations of an ‘exploded bridge’

David Marchant’s Cowin’ Lush neons are based on the drunken scrawls of revellers on Wind St

Jock Mooney’s graphic drawings of Swansea icons Bonnie Tyler, ice creams and Swansea Jack are turned into the Swansea Kebab, in Castle Gardens

Sean Puleston and Rik Bennett add a splash of colour along the High Street.
