Road
The M4 runs directly to Swansea from west Wales, south-east Wales and London. The A465 Heads of the Valleys road connects with the M4 which offers a number of major dual carriageway connections straight to the heart of the city. The A465 also connects to the M50 and M5 making Swansea within an easy few hours drive of the West Midlands.
If you prefer not to drive, First operates a frequent shuttle coach service from Cardiff to Swansea. The service runs hourly off-peak and half-hourly at peak times. There are frequent buses to Swansea from all other principal towns in south and west Wales too.

Rail
Swansea is well served by high speed First Great Western trains from London. Frequent ARRIVA trains run from west Wales, the Marches, the Midlands and the south-west.

Air
Direct flights link Dublin and other European cities with Cardiff Wales Airport, only 50 minutes away from Swansea by road. Swansea has its own local airport which is suitable for small aircraft.
